UTV with Selvaraghavan
UTV is one of the leading and most respected integrated media and entertainment companies, spread over a global film studio business, gaming, animation and broadcasting. UTV had already tied up with the Radhika Sarath Kumar-owned Radaan Mediaworks (India) Ltd to produce Tamil films. Now it has struck a deal with ace director K. Selvaraghavan’s firm Double Zero.
The deal will provide opportunities for new directors, While one of the films will feature his brother Dhanush as its hero, they are looking at other directors who will finalize the rest of the cast.. Selvaraghavan is presently busy directing ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ starring Karthik and Reema Sen, Selvaraghavan is also making untitled Hindi venture for Mumbai-based film maker Boney Kapoor.
