Writer Prasanna Kumar passed away
Writer Prasanna Kumar who has penned lyrics and dialogues for many films passed away today morning at his residence. He is aged 49 years old and survived by his wife and son. Prasanna Kumar made his entry into Tamil cinema as a dialogue writer for the film Pazhaivana Cholai and continued his striding works in many films.
He is a very close friend of Actor Vivek and Thyaagu. Of course, he has written many comedy tracks for Vivek in films like Budget Padmanabhan and many more. Sources close to him have stated that he was suffering from prolonged illness over for a long time.
For over a period of 25 years, he has written dialogues for many successful films like Youth, Bheema and yesterday released movie Sandai. Prasanna Kumar’s native place is Kumbakonam and his funeral rites will be held today itself…
