Well, here comes a different flick that’s not something top-charting in box office as leading corporate wouldn’t let this one to dominate the worst flicks produced by them. Of course, when you’ve their channels promoting these flicks at No.1, hope viewers wouldn’t be aware about ‘Ennai Theriyuma’. But, ours best efforts is to present you with good reviews about good films.

Don’t assume ‘Ennai Theriyuma’ to be the most best amongst all films watched so far. But, witnessing something different over the screen makes us feel to appreciate the best efforts. The film has whole lot of youngsters teaming together having something unique for you.

‘Ennai Theriyuma’ has traces of Mementoes, First 50 Dates and few attributes on technical aspects from Denzel Washington’s ‘Déjà vu’.

Okay! Comparisons are clichéd whenever reviewing any film. Leave them apart and let’s get on with this space.

Adhitya (Manoj) a man of amnesias can’t remember a single second of his previous day and it keeps happening. It’s all about a Tape recorder carrying his voice’s instructions of managing his day. Well, it’s his merely his uncle and his caretaker (Nasser) and his physician knowing about his defects. In his office, Aditya falls in love with Madhumitha (Riya Sen), an alluring missy enkindling everyone’s passion. The first half moves with jolly-ride of romance and couple of action sequences (Don’t miss the spoof on Vijay’s Pokkiri). Everything is fine until last minutes of pre-interval as Adithya’s uncle is found murdered and he’s held as a suspect.

Like Jessica Alba and Jennifer Garnier in Hollywood flicks appearing as investigative officers, here comes Sneha Ullal as Anjali IPS. Fine! She’s there on the side of our protagonist in saving him from tribulations. But as things keeps moving on Adhitya starts working out on his way in revealing the truth. It’s shocking to see that all his doubts are on Anjali IPS now who’s investigating the case.

Manoj is all wonderful not just with his performance, dancing and action sequences. But hats off to him for not opting ridiculous scripts that often our newcomers do and that’s about uttering punch dialogues, hitting 30men at a time (you’ve it here too, but presented different). The young man is good and decent with his role and acting quotients. Sneha Ullal as an investigative officer is quite commendable while Riya looses out her importance in the latter half. Nasser does justice to his role while Brahmanandam’s comedy tracks offers break from the gripping screenplay of murder mystery.

Musical score by Achu is worth heeding when viewed on screen, but not all the times. A special applause for background scoring as it keeps our attentions more on the visuals out of it. But don’t know the reason why the remix song of ‘Ennai Theriyuma’ was missed out from the reel. Cinematography by Sunil again goes in hand with Music Director and Editor making narration worked out perfectly.

Good Welcome for Ajay Shashtri for an exceptional storyline. For sure, it isn’t like a Mementoes for Murugadoss. First 50 Dates being worked out in a different form with thriller is a good work. If certain amateurish factors from the film were diminished, it would have been a very big ticket in box office now.

Bottom - Line: Sincere attempt by Youngsters

Verdict: Watch it for a different experiences.
