Tamil cinema had seen different types of story, screenplay, direction etc, in this way by2 renamed as Eruvar Matum also unique for kollywood, this was the first attempt made by director to narrate a full text of story keeping two people in mind.
The story starts with two old couple visiting jungle. And there memories go back selvi who left here house to sense the comfort of nature, when she wondering in the jungle she find out small hut in middle of the thick forest, there she meet Abhay and manage to stay with Abhay. Abhay who stay in small hut, born and brought up in jungle so his behavior was closely coordinate with the animal and he also well versed in animal language too. Selvi fall in love on Abhay, but in course of time selvi felt that she can manage with Ape man, so she try to educate Abhay to bring in it civilized world and rest is about whether Abhay turned as civilized man or stayed as jungle man. Dwaraki Raghavan has made an attempt to stand out from the ‘madding crowd, which deserves an appreciation.
PKH Das cinematography and Udayakumar’s special sound effects are the real highlights of the movie and two new comers also made a brilliant come back in every sequence. Apart from that By2 stands for both thrill and love.
