As Title suggest Jithan Ramesh enacted the role of a Brave boy, in typical Madurai Area. Off course this film was remake of Telugu version of Nuvve Nenu. Vincent Selva who already share experience in “Youth”, come out with another remake film titled Madurai Veeran.
This was totally a Masala film with action-packed screenplay, already Tamil cinema had seen many films with same length. In order to show Ramesh in Action front, director team has worked hard to prove Ramesh as an action hero. In fact Ramesh in action role didn’t suit well, Ramesh’s Voice modulation, Body language & and his lack of emotion shows he is not suit for Action packed movie. On basis of trail & error, Ramesh taking various efforts to prove him an efficient actor, in this way Ramesh has taken some initiative in action front in this film.
Shiva (Ramesh) a rich boy, son of veteran business man Viswanathan(Avinash), who always running behind money and dam bother about his family. Shiva joins college and finds useful friends at the meantime Shiva fall in love with on fellow class mate Priya (Salomi), who belongs to poor and typical rural family, Priya’s father Mayandi (lal) is a milk man and Moneylender too, and her sister also a an arrogant lady, but Priya is quite opposite to there family and feel to spend peacefully. Priya also, felt Shiva is more suitable for her life, without knowing the daring consequence. Both the family oppose Priya & Shiva affair, based on Background, cast & creed.
Both Shiva & Priya are more stubborn about there affairs, both family accept for marriage with one condition, not to meet for the next one year. Viswanthan, sends his son to Mumbai, at the meantime Mayandi preparing for Priya’s Marriage. Here the director keeps the audience in guess, last minute climax and action packed screen play really worked well.
Director Selvaa cooked a good Masala movie, music director Srikanth Deva came out with some peppy songs. Ramesh’s brother Jeeva lends his voice for dubbing, apart from regular cast, Kanja Karuppu, Venniradai Murthy, V M C Haneefa and Sakuthala featuring in the lead role, in first half of the movie Kanja Karuppu comedy was packed well.
In fact, Action in Madurai is common, director Vincent Selva taken the story of love between Rich & Poor, this was Ramesh’s full fledge action movie.
