Cheran’s long pending film Mayakkanadi at last film made his appearance on Tamil New year. Cheran always keen in making a valid film, and Cheran emphasize more on social crux to frame the screen play. In Mayakkanadi, Cheran again came out with familiar storyline, who churn to become a rich man overall night.

At last the film was ended by Tirupathi’s long lecturer.

In first half, the story revolves around the middle class. Like his previous movie Cheran, taken the full notion of the film based on youth dreams? In fact the growing aspiration among the youth was well focused in the film, rest Cheran & Navya love scenes was captured OK. Cheran’s colorful dress costume in song sequence and Navya pair seems attractive. Azhagu Rani, Oyeale Yenga Vantha are two songs where well positioned in the screenplay. And Music by Illayaraja added flavored to the film Mayakkanadi, and Dwarakanthan’s camera captured the beauty of Switzerland, and producer Subbu who take credit of making the film Mayakkanadi.
