Debutant director L.V Elangovan maiden film Pirappu, narrated triangular love story with new faces. The small budget movie Pirappu, manage to hit the screens in without much expectation.
Under S.R.M Films International banner, producer H.G. Pramila Ganesh the movie Pirappu started to roll. Director L.V Elangovan came out with new faces Prabha, Karthika, Shanmuga Raj, and Mayura, along with them Kanja Karuppu featured in comedy track. In the musical part Bhardwaj scored music for this film and camera cranked by Shanky Mahendran.
Coming to the story front, director was taken the old fashion of Tamil movies, which basically revolves around a poor man fall in love with rich girl and vice versa. Mahadevan and Sharanya rich couple, who have no kids, find Prabha a lower cast boy and they adopt Prabha (Prabha) as a one of their child.
Day passes, Prabha grown and became a well matured guy, in the meantime Karthika (Karthika) close relative to Prabha family fall in love with him, but Prabha is eyeing on Mayaka.
In the time course Karthika find Prabha romancing with Mayaka, so she dropped her plan to marry Prabha. But Karthika’s father Shanmugaraja (Shanmuga Raja) want Prabha to be his son-in-law, both karthika and Prabha are against Shanmugaraja plans, because of Prabha graveness Shanmugaraj get angry and kills Prabha adopted parents in point blank.
This made Prabha angry and revenge starts, in climax how Prabha get Mayaka, and rest complete with Karthika.
Nothing new shown in the movie except new faces, the song scored by Bhardwaj sounds Ok. Debutant director able to cover the film with allotted money and time, new faces had cleared the screen without much difficulty. At the outset director produced a average movie.
