Dr. Rajashekar is yet back again to present a film filled with commercial elements and quite entertaining. Well before watching the movie I thought that it would be a funny thing watching a Telugu movie dubbed into Tamil and that’s because of the title. But things became different while watching the movie and it was a commendable job from Dr.Rajashekar and his wife Jeevitha who has directed this film.

Remaking Malayalam flick Lion, Director Jeevitha has given her best in adding commercial stuffs and made the film suiting to the Telugu fans who always give good welcome for the films carrying the formula of ‘Good story+ Stunning stunts+ feet-tapping songs + emotional sentiments+ pinch of glamour’.

Udambu Eppadi Irruku is about schmaltzy relationship between a father and son belonging to the same political party. Raghuvaran as education minister tries to bring down the chief minister out of the power and with the help of his son-in-laws he works on it. Afflicted by his corrupted father, his son Rajashekar strongly opposes that and this gradually creates a disruption in between him and his family members other than his younger sister and mother.

Things turn upside down when Government gets dissolved and need for re-election arises. Rajashekar as an independent candidate wins over his father contesting in the same area. Things happen favorable when Rajashekar extend his support to the party where his father belongs. Holding onto the position of Home Minister, he is out to extend his contribution to the upliftment of the state.

Remaining part of the film is how he gets to sort out evil elements in the society.

It’s a noteworthy task of director Jeevitha who has provided a full package of entertainment for all the centres. During the second half its Mumaith Khan who remains as limelight with her appealing appearance. Dr. Rajashekar can now expect acting offers in Tamil films and he is capable of performing any character role. Well, when pointing out this word character, I need to mention another key aspect that enhances the film’s quality and that’s characterization designed in this film. All the characters are given equal importance and that’s something nice to see all the actors getting scope to perform.

Valuating the film on as a whole. It’s a laudable task by the spouses Dr. Rajashekar and his wife Jeevitha.Udambu Eppadi Irukku goes Swinging off with good piece.

Verdict: Hopes didn’t fail Dr. Rajashekar and its an entrance pass for him to make his venture in Tamil films
