Sundar C’s second successful film Veeraappu is on the move in Kollywood, the director turned actor Sundar C had stamped his mark on the film and proved his acting ability through Veeraappu.
The remake of Malayalam Blockbuster movie Spatikam, Veeraappu tuned well according to wishes of Tamil Viewers. Director Badri had tried to bring the sentiments in big way, which is successful. And Music director D.Imman had given maximum punch in background music, apart from regular song sequence Music director D.Imman realized the importance of background music and he made it well too.
Sundar C has taken in charge of acting through Veeraappu, No Doubt the only one Prakash Raj is really serious in this film. As a father Prakash Raj had really kicked off Sundar C from the movie. As well as Vivek, Santhanam comedy tack and Thejashree & Sumithra appearance made the film ease.
As a strict father cum Maths teacher Vedhakanu (Prakash Raj) presidential award winner for Maths try to mould his son Pandi (Sundar C) to become a Mathematician, but Pandi wishes is altogether different story. Pandi is care-free boy who is more interested in Science rather than Maths and he like to freak out with his friends. As a Maths teacher & father Vedhakanu is more possessive about his son and his extra care, makes Pandi to look for another way. In the long run the father-son relation started to dip, in long run Pandi became big rowdy in the area again annoyed his father. In this meantime Pandi meets ( Bharathy) Gopika a school teacher and fall in love with her.
And rest of the movie revolves around Father-son bonding. The director had created strong base for both Prakash Raj and Sundar C. Actor Prakash Raj’s perfection as a strict father and irresponsibility son Sundar C combination is churning the movie. Besides, Gopika romantic alliance with Sundar C and Vivek, Santhanam track helped the movie to move fast.
In overall aspect the commercial entertainer Veeraappu is likely to move well in Kollywood. Especially in rural areas the film may get good response.
