Veyil totally a different story for this winter and brilliantly directed by G.vasantha bala, in this occasion we should definitely appreciate Veyil team giving a world class picture. At the same time we should not forget S pictures and Director shankar contribution to veyil.

Story starts with Murugesan (Pasupathy) recall his childhood day’s memories, in small village near virudunagar. Murugesan father is a professional killer who heads the family. He is hard working man devoted his lifer for his four children, two boys and two girls, Murugesan is elder among the four and he quite attached with his younger brother karthi (Bharath).

As a young boy Murugesan was quite fond of M.G.R movie, he never misses any show of M.G.R movie in near by theater. One fine day Murugesan caught by his father when he was watching the movie after cutting the class, he get sever thrashing from his father heart broken Murugesan taken some money from his father pocket and ran away from the home. Murugesan reached nearby town and he able to get job in near by theater and theater become his home and he enjoyed his stay in theater.

In meantime murugesan fall in love with thangam reside opposite to theater and there love continues. The love story of murugeasn end with sudden death of thangam, after thangam expire Murugeasan felt very bad but again demolition of theater had weaken Murugesan. Heart broken Murugesan returning home after two decades. it was beautifully picturised how he was welcomed by his family really heart touching. And murugesan felt bad about his irresponsible behavior, when Karthi hugged him. And movie end with lot of tears.

In this film there was two parallel love stories was beautifully picturised by director one between Kathir and Meenakshi (Bhavana) and between Murugesan and Pandi (Sriya Reddy), in childhood flame. Director tries to bring clear picture about relation between son and father. And every character performed well to bring clear view on movie.

G.V.Prakash, a nephew of A.R.Rahman, scored wonderful tunes to the lyrics of Na Muthukumar. Two songs really got worth among the audience, Veyilodu Vilaiyaadu… and Uruguthey… The film has been beautifully photographed by Madhi. Rural Tamil Nadu, in all its charm and splendor has been out on celluloid.
